Zurab Pataradze will leave his post as the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan from January 1, 2025, according to a relevant decision published on Georgian government's website, APA reports.
Pataradze's rotation period ends and it is not yet known whether he will be appointed as an ambassador to another country or not.
Recall that Zurab Pataradze has been Georgia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan since 2018, he led the Adjara government in 2016-2018, and he has also been Georgia's Ambassador to Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
