Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, on an official visit to Azerbaijan, toured the Heydar Aliyev Center on April 15, APA reports.

According to APA, the guest was informed about the building, considered one of the architectural masterpieces of the modern world. The Center is dedicated to the in-depth study of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s political philosophy, the ideology of Azerbaijanism, and his socio-political legacy.

At the Heydar Aliyev Museum, the Georgian President viewed virtual exhibits reflecting various aspects of the late leader's activities during the Soviet era and Azerbaijan’s years of independence. He first observed the vehicles used by Heydar Aliyev from 1969 to 2003 during his leadership.

The Georgian President showed great interest in the exhibits, photographs, and multimedia displays illustrating different periods of Heydar Aliyev’s leadership and achievements.

He also visited the "Pearls of Azerbaijan" exhibition, which showcases rare artifacts related to the country’s rich natural resources, centuries-old history, and cultural heritage. The exhibition features ancient crafts, unique samples of Azerbaijani carpet weaving, and national musical instruments presented with sound effects. Visitors can also view traditional costumes, ancient coins, and sacred books in various languages.

Kavelashvili toured the "Classic Cars Exhibition" and left a note in the Center's guestbook before departing with positive impressions.
