"We welcome the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia and emphasize that Georgia is ready to contribute to strengthening peace and cooperation in the region," Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botcharishvili, said during a joint press conference with the OSCE Secretary General, Feridun Sinirlioglu, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"We once again welcome the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia and note that Georgia is ready to contribute to strengthening peace and cooperation in the region. I am pleased that last week, a trilateral meeting was held in Tbilisi between the foreign ministries. This is the first time a meeting has been held between the foreign ministries of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, and I hope that in this format, we will be able to cooperate for the prosperity of the region," Botcharishvili said.
