Georgian FM: PM's visit to Azerbaijan will strengthen strategic partnership

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has issued a statement regarding with Minister Iliya Darchiashvili’s bilateral visit with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.

According to the information, it was noted that the ministers expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of the development of relations between the countries in the statement.

It was noted that Iliya Darchiashvili has expressed his gratitude to Jeyhun Bayramov for the excellent organization of the next meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan-Georgia- Türkiye in a tripartite format and for the warm welcome.

During the meeting, the importance and role of the tripartite format in regional development was emphasized.

“The ministers who discussed current agenda of strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, highly appreciated the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze and the high-level meetings that will further strengthen the dynamics of the bilateral strategic partnership scheduled to be held in Baku on March 16,” the statement emphasdized.
