EU contributes to mine clearance in Azerbaijan - High Representative

"We are contributing to mine clearance efforts in Azerbaijan," High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, said at a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

"Here, we will strengthen our negotiations based on a new cooperation agreement. Our relations are built on mutual respect. The rule of law and human rights are at the core of our principles. I had extensive discussions with the Minister regarding relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I am pleased to note that an agreement has been reached on the text of the peace treaty," Kallas said.
