"We are closely following the developments in the South Caucasus, which holds strategic importance for the Turkic world," said President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the informal meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), APA’s correspondent dispatched to Budapest reports.
"We are pleased that brotherly Azerbaijan and Armenia have reached an agreement on the text of a peace treaty. If lasting peace is achieved between the two countries, it will open many opportunities for the Turkic world. I am confident that victorious President Ilham Aliyev will go down in history as the leader who brings peace to the region," Erdoğan said.
