"Our Consulate General is in touch with the family who took their children from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Tabriz for treatment and were unable to return to the country, staying in a tent in the El Golu park," Aykhan Hajizada, Head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
He noted that although the relevant permission was given to the mentioned family to enter the Republic of Azerbaijan by land, they stated that the treatment is still ongoing.
Note that reports have been circulating in several Telegram channels that a family that took their children from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Tabriz for treatment could not return to the country and is staying in a tent in El Golu Park. After the reports, residents of Tabriz came to El Golu park to help the family. According to the residents of Tabriz who went to the family, the incident was exaggerated, and the information that was spread hastily was not clarified later. As a result of social media users from Tabriz going to El Golu park on the morning of November 27, it became apparent that the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Tabriz had taken the family from El Golu park to the Consulate two days ago.
