"Under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and is pursuing an independent foreign policy in line with its national interests. However, this did not align with the interests of certain circles in the West, particularly within the European Union and its member states," Ramid Namazov, the chairman of the Temporary Commission against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats, said during a public discussion held in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) on the topic “A hybrid attack under the guise of a ‘peace mission’ in the South Caucasus,” APA reports.
He stated that, as a result, these circles, hiding behind the European Union and its various institutional bodies, have begun to pose threats, including hybrid threats, against Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, acting on the orders of the Armenian lobby.
