"Under various disguises of aid, countries like France have provided Armenia with offensive weapons, and Armenia’s preparations for potential future international military operations, including missions conducted by the EU, further support the notion that a new conflict zone in the South Caucasus and the broader region is developing along two scenarios," Ramid Namazov, the chairman of the Temporary Commission against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats, said during a public discussion held in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) on the topic “A hybrid attack under the guise of a ‘peace mission’ in the South Caucasus,” APA reports.

The chairman emphasized that the first scenario involves Armenia, with France's support and encouragement, possibly launching military operations against Azerbaijan, potentially igniting a new war in the region. “The second scenario,” he said, “involves Armenia being drawn into Western-led military operations against one of its neighboring countries—such as Iran—and if these operations fail, a counterattack by that neighboring state could result in the occupation of Western Zangezur/Syunik. These are our scenarios, because the post-war phase has increased external actors' interest in the region by affecting the strategic significance of the Syunik province."
