The United States is engaged in economic violence, said Lu Mei, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, at a press briefing, APA reports.
She emphasized that the tariffs imposed by the U.S. severely disrupt the global economic power balance: “The tariffs imposed by the U.S. add additional burden to the already struggling international trade system and pose serious challenges to the prospects for global economic growth.”
The ambassador noted that the excessive tariffs imposed by the U.S. are causing significant problems for many developing countries: "These tariffs clearly pose a major risk to the global economic landscape."
