Iran has not abandoned the path of diplomacy, said Seyyed Jafar Aghayi, Chargé d’Affaires of Iran’s Embassy in Azerbaijan, during a press conference, APA reports.
“We are a sovereign state and reiterate our right to respond to Israel’s attacks,” the diplomat said.
He also called on the international community to strongly condemn this attack: “UN member states, especially those in the regional and Islamic world, as well as the Non-Aligned Movement, must condemn this attack. We also expect concrete actions to be taken.”
