"We had the opportunity to discuss the security environment in the broader geography, the ongoing conflicts, their impact on the countries of the region, and a number of other issues," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, APA reports.
The minister said that he informed Kaja Kallas about the South Caucasus: “I informed my female counterpart about the latest situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I shared information regarding the conclusion of negotiations on the draft text of the peace agreement in March of this year. Azerbaijan’s expectations from Armenia were once again explained in detail. Colleagues from the EU are well aware of Azerbaijan’s position. This is not a new position; it has been on the table for two years.”
