Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan have met within the framework of the informal Summit in Shusha today, Azerbaijani MFA wrote on X account, APA reports.
The post reads:
"Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Turkic States within the framework of Informal Summit of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha.
Issues arising from allied Azerbaijan-Türkiye cooperation based on brotherhood, mutual support and solidarity, regional and international cooperation within various organizations and formats, global security challenges and matters were thoroughly discussed.
The sides reaffirmed importance of strengthening OTS to enhance cooperation in the Turkic world, to benefit from existing opportunities in various fields, including economy, trade, investments, energy security, transport and communications, combating climate change, etc.
Post-conflict regional reconstruction and peace efforts, latest state of Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process were also discussed during the meeting."
