"The new direction in the energy sector is the field of green energy. This project is ongoing. The prospects of this project are broad," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, APA reports.
The minister noted that, along with Europe and Azerbaijan, a number of other countries are also showing interest in this project: “Bulgaria is also showing interest in this project. In addition, there is a chance that green energy produced in Central Asia could be delivered to Azerbaijan and become part of this project. The parties are currently taking practical steps in this direction.”
