Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Djuric met in an expanded format, the Azerbaijani Ministry stated, APA reports.
The parties met to discuss bilateral and multilateral strategic partnership between the two countries in political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, tourism, and other spheres.
Prospects of strengthening relations in the fields of trade, energy, investments, etc., contribution of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia in this regard, as well as utilization of existing opportunities of cooperation within the framework of COP29 Azerbaijan presidency were highlighted.
Post-conflict situation in region, reconstruction, peace and normalization efforts of Azerbaijan, existing threats and challenges to the peace process with Armenia were also discussed during the meeting.
