On July 15, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, met Rolande Pryce, the new World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
It was reported that at the meeting, the successful results of the joint projects implemented within the framework of long-term effective partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank and covering various fields were appreciated.
Views were exchanged on issues related to the progress of the currently implemented projects, as well as issues on the preparation of the Bank's new Country Partnership Framework, which will cover the years 2025-2029, in accordance with the World Bank's activity directions and Azerbaijan's development priorities.
At the same time, prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank in a number of fields, including within the framework of COP29, were discussed.
