Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has held a meeting with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani in an expanded format, APA reports citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The discussions covered a wide range of areas, including political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and humanitarian initiatives.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral ties through high-level reciprocal visits, regular political consultations, and the establishment of a structured economic cooperation mechanism.
They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continued support and solidarity on regional and international platforms such as the UN, OIC, Non-Aligned Movement, and the CICA.
Minister Bayramov also briefed his Bahraini counterpart on post-conflict reconstruction and demining efforts in the region, as well as initiatives aimed at establishing lasting peace.
