"Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict remains in the past, and the OSCE can now play a role in the reconstruction and recovery process," said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary-General Feridun Sinirlioğlu, APA reports.
The minister noted that building cooperation without security is extremely difficult: "Today’s challenging international situation—ongoing military conflicts, distrust, global fragmentation, blockades, and other trends—must be considered. The OSCE brings together countries under one umbrella that often have conflicting foreign policies or adversarial positions. Diplomacy is about establishing formats for dialogue. No military conflict is endless. Existing platforms are vital to resolving unresolved issues and ending conflicts. OSCE’s current platforms will be increasingly necessary. Specifically regarding the former Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict, it now belongs to the past. The OSCE may now contribute to the recovery and reconstruction process. An exchange of views on this matter was held today."
