The head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA), Aykhan Hajizada responded to the press secretary of Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Peter Stano, on the X platform regarding his comments on the snap parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan on September 1, APA reports.
Aykhan Hajizada noted that elections took place in complete accordance with the Constitution of the country and its national laws.
"Such a subjective claim & biased political consideration by Peter Stano repeating preset negative attitude by OSCE/ODIHR towards the elections in Azerbaijan is null and void. Elections took place in complete accordance with the Constitution of the country and its national laws,' he wrote.
