"Azerbaijan will hold parliamentary elections and COP29. I wish success to Azerbaijan," President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this in a statement to the press following the ceremony of signing the documents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, APA reports.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that Azerbaijan is now also an ally of Uzbekistan: “Today, we discussed our cooperation in broad areas. We decided to strengthen political dialogue and increase our cooperation within the international framework. We noted the increase in trade turnover between our countries. We have decided to implement projects in 20 key directions and create cooperations. I would also like to mention that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have established an investment fund with a charter capital of 500 million dollars.”
