Azerbaijan invited Armenia to COP 29, aid Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration, at tbe II Global Media Forum held in Shusha, APA reports citing The National.
Hikmet Hajiyev noted that the President of COP29, Mukhtar Babayev, addressed an official letter of invitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia: "We have officially invited Armenia to COP29. In the absence of diplomatic relations between the two countries, this invitation shows Azerbaijan's good will and inclusive approach. Now the Armenian authorities have decided it's time to accept it".
