A delegation led by Secretary General of Türkiye’s National Security Council, Okay Memiş, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, has visited the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, the service’s press office told APA.
The meeting, organized by the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, featured a speech by the head of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Mursal Ibrahimov, who emphasized the deep historical roots of the brotherhood and alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Secretary General Okay Memiş also spoke about the importance of deepening bilateral relations, enhancing military cooperation, and exchanging expertise between the two nations.
During the meeting, participants discussed the conscription process, medical examination procedures, deferment rights, mobilization readiness during peace and wartime, process automation, digitalization, and several other key issues.
At the end of the meeting, symbolic gifts were presented to the guests, and a group photo was taken.
