"Azerbaijan and Armenia have taken courageous steps to leave the past behind and to get forward," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Baerbock before a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts, APA reports.
FM has noted that there is an opportunity to get sustainable peace now. Both sides have already taken courageous steps to leave the past behind.
"Germany is committed to providing solution of unresolved issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan by peaceful means and without application of force. To this end, completion of peace talks between two countries soon is essential," added the Minister.
