Next year will be a significant milestone for bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Slovenia, marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a joint press conference with Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon, APA reports.
The minister emphasized the importance of green energy and the pharmaceutical sector: "Slovenia plays a significant role in the global pharmaceutical industry. We are also discussing joint production. We have discussed expanding connections with Slovenian ports through the East-West International Transport Corridor. Today's inaugural meeting of the Working Group will be crucial for driving joint projects forward. We hope to see practical results from the processes initiated by the 2026 anniversary year."
