Azerbaijan has once again appealed to Israel through various channels to exercise caution regarding the safety of the civilian population and civilian facilities during operations in areas inhabited by Azerbaijanis in Iran and to avoid strikes as much as possible, APA reports.
According to the information, concern has grown in Baku over civilian safety following the targeting of military facilities in the city of Ardabil.
Previously, reports indicated that a few days ago, Azerbaijan sent messages through various channels to the Israeli leadership not to target settlements inhabited by Azerbaijanis in Iran and not to harm civilian infrastructure and civilians.
Since Israel’s strikes have also targeted areas inhabited by Azerbaijanis in Iran, there is a risk of casualties among the local population and damage to social infrastructure.
