In recent days, completely unfounded and fabricated information about Azerbaijan has been spreading in some media organizations and social media platforms, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration said this on his social media account, APA reports.
"Recently, completely unfounded and fabricated allegations have been spread in some media and social media accounts that allegedly, Azerbaijan has recruited ethnic Azerbaijanis as agents and is placing them in Iran on behalf of Israel. Such absurd and fantasy-based claims have nothing to do with reality and are nothing more than deliberate disinformation. We categorically reject such fake news and baseless accusations," Hikmet Hajiyev stressed.
