"I do not agree with the statements that the negotiations between Yerevan and Baku have reached a dead end," said the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan to journalists, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
He also revealed that he had a brief conversation last week in St. Petersburg with the Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament), Sahiba Gafarova.
Note that both the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, and the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, participated in the meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) last week.
