An opening ceremony was held for the “Bilim Maarif” workshop at the Youth Campus of Azerbaijan International Maarif Schools, launched through joint cooperation between the Türkiye Maarif Foundation and the T3 Foundation, APA reports.
The event was attended by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün, embassy staff, and other guests.
At first, participants were introduced to robotic devices developed by the school’s young Teknofest team. The guests were provided with detailed information about the devices, and it was noted that the team had represented Azerbaijan at the Teknofest competition in Türkiye.
Later, the guests observed the training process of the center's young attendees.
It was highlighted during the event that the Türkiye Maarif Foundation operates in 55 countries, contributing to scientific and educational processes.
Ambassador Birol Akgün emphasized the close ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan across various fields, strengthened by the brotherly relationship between the two nations.
“Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations are not limited to political, economic, or energy fields — they also include the humanitarian sphere. Both the Türkiye Maarif Foundation and the T3 Foundation implement joint projects in various countries. I highly value the opening of this workshop and thank everyone involved in the process,” the ambassador stated.
The event concluded with a performance by students of the Azerbaijan International Maarif Schools.
