Head of Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO Jafar Huseynzada met with Ambassador Ilir Gjoni, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Albania to NATO, the Azerbaijani diplomat posted on his X account, APA reports.
“It was a pleasure to meet today with Ambassador Ilir Gjoni, newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Albania to NATO. At the meeting, we had a good exchange of views on the NATO-Azerbaijan partnership, Azerbaijan’s contribution to the energy security of Europe, Albania’s role as a gas transit country in the region, as well as bilateral relations and high-level visits between the two countries,” Mr Huseynzada said.
