"82 people have been added to the list of missing persons by the State Commission," Secretary of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gazanfar Ahmadov said during the panel on "Upholding Families’ Right to Know the Truth and Meeting Their Needs," APA reports.
He noted that in recent years, individuals who previously did not provide information about missing persons are now reaching out to the Commission and the Prosecutor General's Office: “Previously, 3,890 people were registered as missing by the State Commission, and in the last three years, 82 more have been added to this list. The continuation of requests suggests that this number will grow further.”
