Turkmenistan first holds operative-tactical exercises in Caspian Sea

APA reports quoting Turkmenistan’s media that President Gurbangulu Berdimahammadov, government officials, leaders of parliament and military attachés of diplomatic mission accredited in the country watched the exercises.
The Naval Forces, as well as special appointment teams of the Ministry of National Security, operational teams of the Ministries of Defense and Internal Affairs were involved in the exercises. Berdimahammadov said that the “Khazar-2012†operative-tactical exercises aimed to improve combat training of the Armed Forces, first Naval Forces and employment level of military personnel and this exercises conforms to the Turkmenistan Military Doctrine. He announced that the borders of Turkmenistan with the Caspian littoral countries will be always friendship border.
