Türkiye's annual inflation rate has declined once again, APA reports citing Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
According to APA-Economics, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), annual inflation in April stood at 37.86%. In March, the figure was 38.10%. Consumer prices rose by 3% compared to the previous month.
Over the past year, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 36.09%, transportation by 22.76%, and housing by 74.07%.
Türkiye's inflation reached a 24-year high of 85.5% in October 2022. Last year, the peak rate was recorded in May at 75.45%.
