From January to April 2025, nearly AZN 6.9235 billion in taxes were collected into the state budget through the State Tax Service, APA-Economics reports citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
Tax revenues increased by AZN 266.1 million or 4% compared to the same period last year.
It was noted that revenues from the non-oil and gas sector amounted to more than AZN 4.948 billion. Compared to the corresponding period of 2024, tax revenues from this sector increased by AZN 425.4 million or 9.4%.
71.5% of the taxes paid came from the non-oil and gas sector, while 28.5% came from the oil and gas sector.
