In the first quarter of 2025, Sweden's direct investments in the Azerbaijani economy totaled $18.682 million, APA reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This figure represents a 74-fold increase, or $18.431 million more, compared to the same period last year.
It is also noted that in the first quarter of this year, direct investments from Azerbaijan into foreign economies amounted to $315.116 million, while direct foreign investments attracted to Azerbaijan totaled $1.519 billion. Thus, investments from Sweden accounted for 1.2% of the total foreign direct investment received by the country.
