In January-August 2024, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan increased by 23.5% in comparison with the corresponding period of the last year and amounted to AZN 25 billion 223.4 million, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
In the eight months of this year, budget expenses increased by 8.3% reaching AZN 22 billion 362.4 million.
In the first eight months of this year, the surplus of the state budget amounted to AZN 2 billion 861.0 million. In the same period of 2023, a budget deficit of AZN 218.5 million was recorded.
