The Central Bank of Azerbaijan forecasts that the average price of oil in 2025 will exceed 70 dollars, the Chairman of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, said during a press conference, APA-Economics reports.
He stated that the Central Bank also expects oil prices to remain above 70 dollars in 2026: “The Central Bank’s forecast for June will provide a more precise estimate. Additionally, we have forecasted the average price of natural gas for this year to be 304 dollars.”
Note that the Central Bank had previously projected the price of oil for 2025 to be 77 dollars, and the price of natural gas to be 349 dollars.
