So far, residency status has been granted to 153 business entities in industrial zones in Azerbaijan so far, Emil Hajiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
He underscored that more than 6.8 billion manats were invested in industrial zones by entrepreneurs and more than 10,500 permanent jobs were created: "In the next phase of existing projects, more than 1 billion manats will be invested in industrial zones and more than 8,400 new jobs will be created."
