The official lottery organizer and sports betting operator in Azerbaijan, “Azərlotereya” OJSC, has released its financial report for the year 2024, APA-Economics reports.
According to the report, the company’s revenue from sales amounted to 327.58 million AZN in 2024. Net profit for the reporting period reached 61.8 million AZN.
Throughout the year, “Azərlotereya” invested 14.3 million AZN, increasing its long-term assets from 30.3 million AZN to 44.6 million AZN. As a result, the company’s total assets reached 115 million AZN by the end of 2024, up from 96.7 million AZN at the end of 2023.
It is also noteworthy that the total equity of “Azərlotereya” OJSC increased by 32%, reaching 38.8 million AZN.
In the 2024 reporting period, the company paid a total of 92.4 million AZN in taxes. Of this amount, simplified and profit taxes accounted for 70.3 million AZN. In comparison, this figure stood at 63.2 million AZN in 2023.
