In the period from January to April 2025, a total of AZN 39 billion 305.8 million worth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or 0.9% more GDP compared to the same period of the previous year, was produced in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, the value added in the oil and gas sector decreased by 3.5%, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 3.3%. The production of GDP was distributed as follows: 37.3% in industry, 9.9% in trade; repair of motor vehicles, 7.0% in transportation and warehousing, 5.9% in construction, 3.3% in agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2.8% in accommodation services and catering, 1.8% in information and communication sectors, and 21.7% in other sectors and taxes on products and imports accounted for 10.3% of GDP.
GDP per capita amounted to AZN 3841.8.
