In January-August 2024, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan fell by 12.7% and amounted to 30 billion 995.42 million US dollars, APA-Economicsreports citing Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.
In the last year, exports across the country decreased by 25.1% to 18 billion 231.54 million US dollars, while imports increased by 14.5% to 12 billion 763.88 million US dollars.
Although a positive balance of 5 billion 467.66 million dollars was created in the foreign trade turnover, it is 2.4 times less than in the same period of last year.
