Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry reveals amount of funds spent on liberated territories

In the first quarter of 2025, 20.3 percent of the annual funds, or AZN 812.3 million, were utilized for the reconstruction and restoration of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, based on cash order documents submitted by contracting organizations for relevant projects, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics.

Note that between 2021 and 2024, AZN 17.6 billion was allocated from the state budget for the reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, including AZN 5.35 billion in 2024 alone. For 2025, AZN 4 billion has been earmarked for this purpose.
