In January-April 2025, Azerbaijan's GDP reached 39.3 billion manat, marking a 0.9% increase compared to the same period last year, APA reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The value-added in the oil and gas sector decreased by 3.5%, while the non-oil and gas sector grew by 3.3%. The GDP composition includes 37.3% from industry, 9.9% from trade, vehicle repairs, 7.0% from transport and warehousing, 5.9% from construction, 3.3% from agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2.8% from tourism and public catering, 1.8% from information and communication sectors, and 21.7% from other sectors. Net taxes on products and imports accounted for 10.3% of the GDP.
The GDP per capita stood at 3841.8 manat.
