Azerbaijan's Central Bank will introduce liquidity coverage ratio in manat from this year

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) plans to implement the liquidity coverage ratio in manats starting from this year, said Shahin Mahmudzade, Director General of the CBA, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, this will shift the demand in foreign currency to demand in national currency: "The main goal is to monetize dollarization. We want to implement this ratio to increase manatization trends."
