Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan ink protocol on 7th session of Joint Intergov

Discussions were held on the development of partnership in various directions at the 7th session of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat and a protocol on the results of the meeting was signed, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told APA.

The delegation of Azerbaijan got acquainted with the international exhibition Agro Pack Turkmenistan 2023.

The 7th session of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkmenistan was held within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov to Turkmenistan.

During the session, the information on Azerbaijan's increasing economic indicators, convenient business environment, as well as, business potential of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, opportunities created for investors was given, the importance of continuous business events in terms of determining new directions of cooperation was stated, and Turkmenistan investors were invited for active cooperation.

Batir Atdayev, the co-chairmen of the Commission and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan emphasized that there are good prospects for the future development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in various fields and Turkmenistan cares for the deepening of relations.

A protocol was signed on the results of the 7th session of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
