"Azerbaijan will contribute $2 million to the 14th Asian Development Fund (ADF 14)," said Sahil Bababyev, Minister of Finance and Azerbaijan's representative to the Asian Development Bank, during a business session with the bank’s leadership, APA reports.
He underscored the crucial role of the Asian Development Fund in combating climate change and supporting the poorest and most vulnerable countries in the region. He also highlighted that the Fund allocates necessary financial resources for addressing urgent ecological issues.
The Minister added that Azerbaijan supports the activities of ADF, recognizing its importance in resolving climate issues and promoting sustainable development in the region: "We are taking necessary steps to contribute $2 million to ADF 14."
