The Ministry of Finance has disclosed Azerbaijan's Medium-Term Budget Framework for 2026–2029, APA-Economics reports.
The document has been prepared based on the “Rules for the Preparation of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework” approved by the Presidential Decree dated August 24, 2018, and the Cabinet of Ministers' decree dated January 28, 2025, “On the Preparation of the Draft State Budget for 2026.”
The Medium-Term Budget Framework outlines the main directions and targets of budget policy, the macro-fiscal framework, National Spending Priorities, the Medium-Term Resource Envelope, forecasts of revenues and expenditures of the consolidated and state budgets, as well as information on the upper limits of funds allocated from the state budget for the implementation of programs planned in sectors included in the functional classification of state budget expenditures involved in budget reforms.
