Annual inflation in Türkiye has decreased again, APA reports citing the Turkish Statistical Institute.
According to TRUKSTAT in July of the current year, annual inflation has been 61.78%.
In June, this figure was 71.60%. A change in general index was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 3.23%, in December of the previous year by 28.76%, on same month of the previous year by 61.78%, and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 65.93% in July 2024.
Clothing and footwear with 39.57% was the main group that indicated the lowest annual increase. On the other hand, education with 104.50% was the main group where the highest annual increase realized.
Recall that inflation in Türkiye reached the highest level of the last 24 years - 85.5% in October 2022, and the highest level of this indicator in the current year - 75.45% was recorded in May.
