During the first 4 months of the current year, a GDP of 38.2 billion manats has been produced in Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan said at today’s session held at Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.

The Minister underlined that the favorable price at the world’s oil-gas markets caused the oil and gas revenues to exceed the forecast in the state budget: “The increased revenues of the state budget will be provided through additional tax revenues, additional customs, and import tax revenues, revenues to the vehicle disposal fund within the state budget, issuance of state debt securities, etc. As a result of the changes, 48.9% of budget revenues will come from the oil and gas sector and 51.1% from the non-oil and gas sector. The amount of the transfer from the Oil Fund to the state budget will not change”
