Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of July 1, 2012, the number of average number hired workers made 1,620.6. Of this, 850,000 were in state sector of economy, 541.500 – in non-state sector.
State Statistical Committee says 23.7% of hired workers was in education, 19.4% - in trade, repair of transport facilities, 12.4% - in industry, 9.5% - in health and social services to population, 7.2% - in construction, 5.0% - in transport and storehouse economy, 3.2% - in professional, scientific and technical sphere, 3.0% - in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.8% - in information and communication sphere and 14.8% - in other spheres of economy.
The average monthly salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan made AZN 394.6 in the accounting month, in January – July it rose 8.4% to AZN 386.0, compared with a year ago, State Statistical Committee told APA.
