Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2012, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 9,668.7 mln, up AZN 1,322.9 mln or 15.9% compared to last year. At the same time, the deposits dropped AZN 35.6 mln or 0.4% in July.
AZN 4,415.2 mln or 45.7% in the structure of deposits made households deposits. The deposits increased by AZN 871.6 mln or 24.6% year-on-year, as well AZN 42.6 mln or 1.0% in July.
At the same time, as of August 1, the volume of legal entities’ deposits amounted to AZN 5,253.5 mln. This figure rose AZN 451.3 million or 9.4% year-on-year and at the same time dropped AZN 78.2 mln or 1.5% in July. AZN 2,499.5 mln or 47.6% of deposits belonged to financial organizations, AZN 2,754.0 mln or 52.6% - non-financial organizations
